The members voted for Artist of the Month.  A pastel painted by Victoria Autrey won the honor.  Myrtle Sims was 2nd with a pallette knife oil, named "Boquet".  An acrylic painting "Santa Fe Vacation" by Jerri Lynn Rivers was voted 3rd, with 4th place going to Jo Nell Blakely, which was a watercolor painting entitled "Two's Company".     

1. C.A.C.A. will meet once each month to choose the Artist of the Month. Meetings
will be held at 12:00 noon each third Friday unless otherwise specified.

2. To be eligible, each work must have been completed within the last two years.

3. An artist may win Artist of the Month only once during the year unless there
are no entries from non-winners.

4. New members will be eligible for Artist of the Month when showing a painting for the
third time, and eligible to vote when they become a member. If a member misses 12
or more monthly meetings, they must comply to the same rules that apply to new
members. Exceptions at the discretion of the Board.

5. Artist must show a painting a minimum of 6 meetings and attend 4 meetings to be
eligible for Artist of the Year competition, except eligible new members. Exceptions
at the discretion of the Board.

6. An entry winning first place in Artist of the Month, may not be entered again.

7. All eligible artists are expected to enter Artist of the Year competition.
