Painting In The Highlights and The Accents
| Here you can see the finished
painting. The highlights have been added by adding white and a little
yellow to our #1 value. Be careful with the white, to much can make your painting look ashey and dull. The accents were put in by adding a little black to our #4 value. |

You
will note that the back grown blue color has three values. As a general
rule you should not paint a sky or a back grown one value. This was not about painting a horse it was about values and how they are used and I hope in some small way it helped someone. |
